The number of active COVID-19 cases both in Negros Occidental and its capital Bacolod City continues to decline.
Based on records released by the Provincial Incident Management Team of Negros Occidental, the province has 719 active COVID-19 cases left as of Tuesday, August 17.
Total confirmed cases in the province have already breached over 22,000, with total recoveries at 20,795 and deaths at 582.
The Bacolod City Emergency Operations Center, meanwhile, revealed that they have 729 active COVID-19 cases as of Tuesday.
Total cases in the city have also breached the 16,000 mark with recoveries at 14,916 and 371 deaths./DGB, WDJ
