San Carlos City Police Station was recently hailed as the Most Outstanding City Police Station in Western Visayas by the Police Regional Office 6.

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO), meanwhile, recognized the said police station as the best city police station in the province.

Said awards cited the local PNP’s Police Community Relations particularly the efforts in maintaining peace and order, strengthening community affairs and development initiatives in its jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, Police Staff Sergeant Ma. Filomena Flores was recognized as Best Junior PNCO in the field of community relation, provincial level.

The ceremonial awarding which was in line with the Police Community Relations Month celebration was headed by NOCPPO director Col. Romy Palgue.

San Carlos City Police Station Deputy of Administration, Police Lt. Roby Aurita, said they are very thankful for the support of the local government and the community in its advocacies and campaigns.

She added that the awards showed good and harmonious relationships between the local police and the community which inspires them to do more and give better service./WDJ
