A drug suspect was arrested following a drug buy-bust operation around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, at Bliss Project in Barangay 1-A, Manapla, Negros Occidental.

Manapla police chief Major Joevito Bose identified the suspect as 33-year-old Janroe Pratt, a resident of the said barangay.

Police confiscated six sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P4,964; P500 in buy-bust money; and drug paraphernalia.

The suspect was detained at the Manapla Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
