Merzci Marketing Manager Femmy Lee Magbanua turns over the laptops to Dr. Chris Sorongon.

Merzci, through its Merzci Cares program, turned over its donation of five units of laptop to Dr. Chris Sorongon, deputy for medical data and analysis of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), yesterday.

The laptops will be used by the vaccination center to operationalize the Vaccine Administration System developed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

According to Sorongon, the DICT’s system will enable the vaccination center to provide vaccinees with a printed copy of their vaccination along with a unique QR Code.

The system also includes master listing and pre-registration for vaccination, and the directory of vaccine recipients.

Sorongon added that the donation is a great help in transitioning the vaccination process online.

The Merzci Cares Program was initiated by Merzci, the flagship brand of CM and Sons Food Products, Inc., during the start of the pandemic. It aims to help the community and the government in the fight against COVID-19./WDJ
