The city government purchased one unit 4×2 and one unit 4×4 Toyota Hilux Double Cab as PNP patrol cars with fabricated housing, police signal lights, medicine cabinets, grab handles and front winch which can pull 8000-lb objects.

The said vehicles are worth P5 million and are aimed at bolstering the efforts in safeguarding peace and order situations of the city.

The city also acquired a brand new Street Sweeper Truck to be used in cleaning the city streets.

The said truck has sweep-vacuum capable of absorbing garbage and automatically loaded to its dustbin inside the truck and can eject water that will reduce dust generation during its sweeping operation.

The P7.49-million truck, which was funded through the CEMO and from the 20 percent development fund, will be under the care of the CEMO./WDJ
