A 38-year-old woman tagged as street level individual drug suspect was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation around 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at San Juan Tunga in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

San Carlos City Police Station OIC chief, Police Lieutenant Colonel Arthur Baybayan, identified the suspect as Maria Danila Almaras alias “An-An Epis,” a resident of the said village.

Joint operatives of the San Carlos City Police Station and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 6 confiscated one elongated and two medium sachets of suspected shabu and P1,600 in buy-bust money.

The suspect was detained at the San Carlos City Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
