Three members of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and a civilian were injured when a BJMP truck crashed against a private car in Barangay Amamaros, Pototan, Iloilo yesterday morning.

Police said the four identified as Jail Officer 3 Criselde Agdalipe, 40, of Barangay Bolo, Roxas City; Jail Officers 1 Giovani Cabusbusan, 34, of Barangay Bulalacao, New Lucena, Iloilo and Kevin Pio, 24, of Barangay Baldoza, La Paz, Iloilo City; and Mark Anthony dela Cruz sustained minor injuries and were brought to the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan.

Pototan police investigation revealed that the incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. wherein the BJMP truck driven by Agdalipe was heading towards Iloilo City while the car driven by Dela Cruz was running the opposite direction.

Dela Cruz overtook another truck and subsequently crashed into the BJMP’s vehicle, police added./WDJ
