San Enrique PNP opens new station building

The San Enrique Municipal Police Station opened their new station building last Friday, June 18.

Police Colonel Romy Palgue, director of the Negros Occidental Provincial Office (NOCPPO), together with San Enrique police chief Police Captain Renante Salgado received the symbolic key from Engineer Lea Delfinado, regional director of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 6.

Also in attendance were San Enrique Mayor Jilson Tubillara and San Enrique Parish Priest Father Alex Araneta who officiated the blessing of the new police station building.

According to Palgue, the building was funded under the Philippine National Police-DPWH Convergence Program for 2020 with a construction cost of P8.6 million.

The construction of the building started on June 19, 2020 and was completed on January 15, 2021./DGB, WDJ
