June has always been tagged as a bridal month or a wedding month. More to that, this month celebrates a great moment for fathers – be they called Dad, Papa, Tatay, Itay, Ama, or Dadz as what my own Sophia calls me.

Yes, Father’s Day is a special time to honor all the fathers who have given life to their children and unconditionally love them and their partners in life.

In this column, let me honor some of the fathers who are rich in love for their children whom they have brought up the way a father should. These dads are much loved by their family and even by their closest friends and associates.

Happy Father’s Day! Cheers!/WDJ

Luck came his way as the family property where a former mansion remained to stand and is today known to millions of tourists as THE RUINS in Talisay City, Negros Occidental fell into his possession. With such property not known to him if it would earn him a fortune for tourists to appreciate or otherwise, he and spouse Yves, shared muscles of efforts to promote the place until it became a worldwide heritage landmark. He has three children who gave him more inspiration to work for more – thus he came up with his motto – “No guts, no glory (before); No face mask, no entry (now).”
