P136K ‘shabu’ seized in Bacolod

Eleven sachets of suspected shabu worth P136,000 were recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay Tangub around 8:10 p.m. on Monday, June 7.

Officers of the City Drug Enforcement Unit of Bacolod City Police Office nabbed 24-year-old Alvin Tanoy, a resident of the said village, after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500.

The suspect was detained at the Police Station 8 and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
