A 58-year-old man was caught in a drug buy-bust operation around 4:25 p.m. on Sunday in Purok Hitalon, Barangay 4 in Negros Occidental’s Cadiz City.

The suspect, Emmanuel Antonio of the said place, was classified as a street level drug target, police said. He was under probation due to a plea bargaining agreement.

Officers of the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cadiz City Police Station confiscated 10 small heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P2,040 and P500 in buy-bust money.

The suspect was detained anew at the Cadiz City Police Station, facing another case in violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
