The vaccines were immediately transported to the CHO’s cold storage facility located at the Bacolod City Government Center.

As of June 4, the city has already administered 37,150 doses of COVID-19 vaccines. A total of 15,432 received the CoronaVac jabs, while 21,718 received the British-made AstraZeneca vaccine.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia had earlier requested the national government to allocate more vaccines for Bacolod, citing the urgent need to inoculate more residents amid the continued spike in local cases./DGB, WDJ
