The shortened curfew hours, 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., was approved following Lacson’s meeting with the Provincial Incident Management Team on Monday.

However, the governor said in his order that they have decided to retain the current four-day workweek at the provincial capitol based on a recommendation given to him by medical experts.

As of May 31, 2021, Negros Occidental has 15,1081 confirmed COVID-19 cases, of which 452 are active.

The province has also recorded 341 fatalities and 13,315 recoveries./DGB, WDJ
