A drunken man got arrested for firing his unlicensed gun in Barangay Simsiman, Lambunao, Iloilo last Monday night.

The 28-year-old Christopher Castro, a resident of Barangay Siya in Capiz province’s Tapaz town, was detained in the lockup cell of the Lambunao Police Station.

Lambunao police nabbed Castro after he indiscriminately fired his gun, alarming village residents.

Castro will face charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and alarm and scandal./WDJ
