A bus carrying a number of passengers from Iloilo City crashed against a store in Barangay Casalngan in Antique province’s Hamtic town around 11:00 a.m. yesterday.

Hamtic police identified the bus driver as 39-year-old Renante Alegarbes, a resident of Negros Occidental but temporarily residing in Barangay Nauring, Pandan town in Antique.

Police investigation revealed that Alegarbes was heading toward Pandan when he lost control of the bus.

The bus incurred minimal damage while Alegarbes and his passengers sustained minor injuries.

Nobody was hurt from the store, police added./WDJ
