An estimated P51,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated following a buy-bust operation at Purok Boulevard in Bacolod City’s Barangay 13 early yesterday morning.

Police identified the arrested as 47-year-old Pablo “Jun-jun” Untulan, a resident of the said place.

He was identified by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) as a street-level drug target.

A second suspect, identified as 45-year-old Ainor “Inday-inday” Alave, managed to elude arrest.

BCPO spokesperson Major Sherlock Gabana said the CDEU operatives moved in after Untulan allegedly sold one sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to a police poseur buyer.

A subsequent search yielded a total of eight sachets of suspected shabu with a combined weight of 7.5 grams.

Untulan is currently detained at the Police Station 1, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

As of this writing, cops are still conducting manhunt operation against Alave./DGB, WDJ
