3 nabbed in Bacolod buy-bust ops

Police arrested three drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Bacolod City yesterday afternoon.

Children of one of the two individuals caught allegedly engaging in illegal drugs in Purok Narra Baybay in the city’s Barangay 8 were crying while operatives of the Police Station 2 were conducting the buy-bust at around 1:50 p.m. 

Authorities identified the arrested as Carl Noel Ramos and Marimar Narvasa.

Eight sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P34,000 and P500 in marked money were recovered from Ramos and Narvasa, police records showed.

Ramos, who was the subject of the operation, was being classified by the police as newly-identified drug personality.

Meanwhile, a resident of Bago City in Negros Occidental was collared in a buy-bust operation in Purok Cabugwason, Barangay Cabug in Bacolod City at around 1:00 p.m. yesterday.

Caught was Albert Cadusale, 31, resident of Barangay Taloc, Bago City.

Officers of the Police Station 9 confiscated three sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,500.

Ramos, Narvasa and Cadusale may face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./SGG, WDJ
