Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and 6th District Board Member Jeffrey Tubola led the distribution of cash assistance worth a total of P458,000 to the district’s residents who are recipients of medical and burial aids yesterday morning at the Barangay Talubangi Covered Court in Kabankalan City.
Lacson thanked Tubola for initiating valuable projects that directly benefit his constituents in the southern Negros.
The governor also urged everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19 once the vaccines become available in their respective barangays, as it is the best solution to combat the present pandemic.
Also present in the activity were Kabankalan City Mayor Pedro Zayco, Jr. and other local officials.
Strict health protocols were implemented during the activity.
The 6th district is composed of the cities of Kabankalan and Sipalay and the towns of Ilog, Cauayan, Candoni, and Hinoba-an./WDJ
