Army-PNP conducts ‘barangayanihan’ for Muslim community in Bacolod

The 303rd Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army with 79IB, 14CMOBn, Bacolod City Police Office Station 6 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles conducted “Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko” and barangayanihan at Barangay 31, Bacolod City over the weekend.

The activity was geared towards helping the Muslim community in the city during this time of pandemic.

Around 100 Muslim brothers and sisters benefited from the program who received vegetables and food packs with rice, canned goods and instant noodles.

Khalid Dalidig Lumna, coordinator of the Bangsamoro Communities Outside of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (BCOBAR) in Western Visayas, in a statement thanked all the agencies and generous stakeholders involved in the said activity.

He added that it is a great help for the community especially those affected by the pandemic.

Colonel Inocencio Pasaporte, 303rd Infantry Brigade commander, likewise said that the “Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko” activities of the Philippine Army along with its stakeholders will continue to sustain one another while we are in these challenging times./WDJ
