Two persons died in a road accident in Barangay Nanga, Guimbal, Iloilo early morning yesterday.

Motorcycle driver Fritz Parparan, 23, a native of Negros Occidental but temporarily residing in Barangay Narat-an, San Joaquin, Iloilo, and his back rider JayJay Jagodilla, 18, of Barangay Ambuyu-an, San Joaquin, sustained head injuries and died while being treated at the Rep. Pedro G. Trono Memorial Hospital in Guimbal town.

Guimbal police report showed that the incident happened at around 1:23 a.m. while the victims were on their way home. They accidentally hit the concrete gutter along the road.

They were reportedly not wearing helmets, police added./WDJ
