Two men were nabbed following a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay 2 around 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, May 8.

Police identified the arrested as 36-year-old Emily Lorpido of Silay City, Negros Occidental and 46-year-old Eric Abeloria, a resident of Barangay 2.

Their companion Danilo Carpentero, also of Barangay 2, managed to escape.

Officers of the Police Station 2 confiscated six plastic sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P40,800 and P500 in buy-bust money.

Lorpido and Abeloria were detained at the Police Station 2, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
