Bacolod holds 5-day mass COVID vaccination

The Bacolod City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the COVID-19 Vaccination Council (CoVaC) started yesterday its mass COVID-19 vaccination at the Cinema lobby located at the southwing of SM City Bacolod.

The vaccination, which is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., will run until May 7 to accommodate the remaining frontline healthcare workers, senior citizens and persons with comorbidities who were not inoculated yet.

Their schedule of vaccination is based on a first-come first-served sequence in the order that their registration came into the city’s data base, according to EOC.

For crowd control and physical distancing protocols, walk-ins are not allowed.

Based on the EOC data, a total of 7,801 individuals have already  received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccines, while 2,949 have completed their vaccination./WDJ
