Charged with rape, a 42-year-old fisherman was arrested in his residence at Barangay Bay-ang in Iloilo province’s Ajuy town.

Roger Mahinay was nabbed around 3:00 p.m. last Friday, April 30.

The suspect’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Jose Mauricio Gomez of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 71 for the crime of three counts of rape with no bail recommended, and attempted rape and acts of lasciviousness charges.
