A street-level drug suspect was arrested following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sablogon, Passi City, Iloilo.

Thirty five-year-old Steward Somos, a resident of Barangay Simon Ledesma St. in Iloilo City’s Jaro district was caught around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday for selling a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500.

Passi City police also confiscated four more sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P4,080.

The suspect was detained at the Passi City Police Station. He faces a charge of violation of the Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
