Two drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation around 8:35 p.m. on Monday at Sitio Ambacan, Barangay Poblacion in Negros Occidental’s San Enrique town.

San Enrique police identified the suspects as 22-year-old Joel Reveche, Jr. of the said place and 23-year-old Ellyza Joy Garzon of Purok China Rose, Barangay San Miguel in La Carlota City.

Police confiscated 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 10 grams and valued at around P68,000 and P500 in buy-bust money.

The suspects were detained at the San Enrique Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
