The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Negros Occidental and the Bureau of Customs (BOC) will strengthen border controls through the deployment of Narcotic Detection Dogs.
The move was discussed yesterday by the members of PDEA-Negros K-9 Unit during its courtesy visit to Bureau of Customs Collector Renevic Soliman held at the Bureau of Customs Sub-Port of Pulupandan (Satellite Office) at the Bredco port in Bacolod City.
Discussed during the meeting were how to effectively work hand-in-hand in the suppression of illegal drugs smuggling and the prevention of the entries of illegal drugs in the province, PDEA-Negros in a press statement said./DGB, WDJ
