A farmer was shot to death at Barangay Inolingan in Negros Occidental’s Moises Padilla town around 8:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 11.

Police said the 27-year-old Rusty Grande Sumer sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the body. He died on the spot.

Moises Padilla police investigation revealed that Sumer was driving his tricycle on his way home when he was shot by an unidentified gunman.

Police recovered four empty shells of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene.

Officers from the Moises Padilla Police Station were still identifying the suspect.

They have yet to establish the motive in the incident as of this writing./WDJ
