Two persons died and one was injured after their motorcycle crashed against a mahogany tree in Barangay Jolason, Tubungan, Iloilo around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, February 20.

Died of head and body injuries were 25-year-old Emmanuel Doquito of Barangay Bagumbayan, Alimodian, Iloilo and 15-year-old John Loyd Villanueva of Barangay Jolason.

Their companion, 21-year-old Ramil Gange of Tubungan town, sustained body injury. He was recuperating at the Tubungan Rural Health Unit.

According to Tubungan police, the victims were navigating the road when their motorcycle accidentally hit a tree./WDJ
