A drug suspect from Bacolod City was arrested by Talisay City police following a buy-bust operation at the national highway in Kurbada Nakab in Talisay City’s Barangay Bubog, Thursday afternoon.

Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit led by Police Lt. Colonel Noel Polines led the operation and identified the suspect as Emilio Dimzon III, 43, and resident of Barangay Montevista, Bacolod City.

Polines said Dimzon was arrested after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover agent in exchange for P1,000 marked money.

Cops confiscated a total of 13 sachets of suspected shabu from his possession and suspected drug money amounting to P90.

The suspect is currently detained at the custodial facility of the Talisay City Police Station and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
