Charged with homicide, a 31-year-old man was arrested 6:30 a.m. yesterday in Negros Occidental’s Ilog town.
Police identified the suspect as Anthony Ubay, Jr. of the town’s Barangay Dancalan.
According to Ilog police, Ubay was wanted for the crime of homicide he committed on April 14, 2018.
Police report said that Ubay was drunk as well as the two victims identified as Zandro Villamor and Raymundo Remus, and a heated argument ensued. After which, the suspect followed the victims at their temporary shelter in the construction site and stabbed them. Villamor suffered multiple stabbed wounds and died on-the-spot while Remus sustained wound in his left palm.
The suspect was detained at the Ilog Police Station.
The court recommended P120,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./WDJ
