A 27-year old woman was stabbed by an unidentified suspect around 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 17, in Barangay 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

San Carlos City police said Angelou Olavia sustained five stab wounds on the body. She was recuperating at the San Carlos City Hospital.

Police investigation revealed that an unidentified man got inside the compound of the victim’s rented boardinghouse.

When Olavia approached the man, without apparent reason, the latter mauled and stabbed her several times, police said.

The suspect immediately fled after the incident.

As of this writing, officers of the San Carlos City Police Station have yet to identify the motive in stabbing./WDJ
