A resident of Bacolod City’s Barangay Vista Alegre faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Police said Edwin Salmingo, tagged as a “high-value” drug target, was arrested following a buy-bust operation in his residence around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16.

Officers of the Police Station 7 confiscated 12 grams of suspected shabu valued at P81,600.

The suspect is now detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 7./WDJ
