Almost 900 Negrense locally stranded individuals (LSIs) from Metro Manila and Cebu have arrived over the weekend prior to the scheduled holiday moratoriums in Negros Occidental.

Dr. Zeaphard Caelian, head of the Provincial Incident Management Team, said a batch of 333 LSIs from Manila and 140 from Cebu arrived last Saturday, December 19.
On Sunday, Dec. 20, Caelian said 421 LSIs arrived via a flight from Cebu Pacific, and two flights from Philippine Airlines.
As per health protocols imposed by the provincial government, all LSIs have undergone RT-PCR testing and quarantined at the provincial healing center in Silay City.
The test results of the LSIs should be released within this week./DGB, WDJ
