At least 193 illegally refilled butane canisters were confiscated in Barangay Guintas, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo on Monday.

Officers of the Barotac Nuevo Police Station and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Special Operations team arrested residents 30-year-old Karl Violata, 41-year-old Henry Porras and 56-year-old Roberto Campos.

The suspects were detained at the Barotac Nuevo Police Station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1865, which prohibits the sale or distribution of petroleum products for profit and without a license from the government./WDJ
