A drug suspect escaped a buy-bust operation on Thursday evening at Osmeña Avenue, Barangay 13 in Victorias City, Negros Occidental.

The 27-year-old John Rey Bedion of Barangay Nangka in EB Magalona town was already arrested but he managed to run away from arresting officers.

Victorias City police recovered six sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,400, a cellphone and a motorcycle with tampered chassis and motor numbers.

A manhunt was launched against the suspect, who was still at large as of this writing./WDJ
