Around 150 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,020,000 were seized following a buy-bust operation at Buri Road in Bacolod City’s Barangay Mandalagan.

Officers of thePhilippine Drug Enforcement Agency 6 – Special Enforcement Team arrested around 3:00 p.m. on Thursday the three high-value targetsidentified as 32-year-old Jan Michael Astorga, a barangay “kagawad” of Zone 12-A, Talisay City, Negros Occidental; 25-year-old Dino Dimson of Barangay Granada, Bacolod City; and 31-year-old Cris Angelo Abelarde of Barangay Mandalagan.

Authorities also confiscated a weighing scale, tooter and other drug paraphernalia.

The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
