A father and his two sons were arrested for possessing unlicensed firearms and ammunition in Barangay Pulo Maestra Vita, Oton, Iloilo around 8:30 a.m. yesterday.

Armed with search warrants, Oton police arrested 68-year-old Rolando Condag, Sr. and his sons 31-year-old Rolando Jr. and 43-year-old Francis, all residents of the said place.

Officers of the Oton Police Station recovered .45-caliber pistol with seven ammunition and .380- caliber pistol with 10 ammunition from the house of Rolando Sr. and Jr.

Francis, meanwhile, yielded .45-caliber pistol and 12-gauge shotgun.

The three were detained at the Oton Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./WDJ
