A laborer was arrested following a drug buy-bust operation around 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday at Araneta Street, located in Bago City’s Barangay Poblacion.

Police identified the suspect as 49-year-old Roger Villanueva alias “Bonjing” of Purok Ilang-Ilang of the said village.

Bago City police confiscated four heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu including a buy-bust item, P300 in buy-bust money and P240 in cash proceeds.

The suspect was detained at the Bago City Police Station and charged in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
