New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram and Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo have agreed to five-year maximum contract extensions with their teams on Tuesday (Wednesday in the Philippines).

In a report by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Ingram has agreed to a five-year, $158 million maximum contract extension just a year after coming to the Pelicans from Los Angeles Lakers as part of the Anthony Davis trade.
Ingram, the No. 2 overall pick by the Lakers in the 2016 NBA Draft, elevated his performance with the Pelicans that earned him a Western Conference All-Star berth.
Ingram became the fourth player from the 2016 draft class to get a maximum contract extension aside from Philadelphia 76ers Ben Simmons, Denver Nuggets’ Jamal Murray and Toronto Raptors’ Pascal Siakam.
Adebayo, on the other hand, has agreed to a a five-year, $163M contract extension to stay with the Heat, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Adebayo, who was solid in Heat’s runner-up finish last season, is eligible for a rookie maximum contract — $163M with trigger for $195.6M – and Miami plans to sign him to the new deal.
The Nuggets, meanwhile, has signed Bol Bol to a new two-year, $4.2M deal as his two-way contract was converted to a standard NBA deal after showing promise during the NBA bubble.
In other NBA free agent signings, Ryan Broekhoff has agreed to a deal with the 76ers, while guard Jordan Bone has agreed to a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic./ASC, WDJ
