A suspected drug offender was arrested 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, following a drug bust in Rizal Street, located in La Carlota City’s Barangay 1.

La Carlota City police identified the suspect as 19-year-old Christian Rey Tortosa of Yunque Street in the city’s Barangay 1 Poblacion.

Police confiscated three heat sealed of suspected shabu, including a buy-bust item, valued at P6,800; P1,000 in buy-bust money; P200 cash; and a cellphone.

Tortosa was detained at the La Carlota City Police Station and charged in violation RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
