An estimated P150,000 worth of damage was recorded following a residential fire along Galo-Lopez Jaena Street in Bacolod City’s Barangay 20 yesterday morning.
Based on information released by arson investigators from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Bacolod City, the fire started past 9:00 a.m. and may have started at a room occupied by a certain alyas “Baga” at the second floor.
The residential building’s occupants were able to flee immediately and no one was injured in the incident.
Firefighters from the BFP and the Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade were able to respond quickly to the scene and managed to quell the blaze shortly before 10:00 a.m./DGB, WDJ
