Morris shuns Clippers, re-signs with Lakers

Markieff Morris will remain with defending champions Los Angeles Lakers after agreeing to a one-year veteran minimum deal on Monday (Tuesday in the Philippines).

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Morris opted to remain with the Lakers despite also being offered a deal by the Los Angeles Clippers for a chance to team up with twin brother Marcus.
“Run it back! #Lakeshow,” tweeted Markieff as he announced his decision to remain with the reigning NBA champions.
Meanwhile, Toronto Raptors add another piece to its frontline rotation following Marc Gasol’s move to the Lakers by agreeing to a deal with free agent center Alex Len.
Phoenix Suns, on the other hand, has agreed to give Dario Saric a three-year, $27 million extension, while also agreeing to a contract with free agent guard Langston Galloway.
In other free agent signings, Demarcus Cousins will sign with Houston Rockets, Solomon Hill inks a one-year deal with Atlanta Hawks, Tacko Fall signed a two-way deal with Boston Celtics and Damyean Dotson agreed to join Cleveland Cavaliers./ASC, WDJ
