Live-in partners were killed while three others were injured in a road crash along national highway in Purok Timawa in Bago City’s Barangay Ma-ao on Wednesday night.

Bago City police identified the fatalities as Myrone Eslais and 28-year-old Debie Joy Laganada, residents of Purok Binigsian in La Carlota City’s Barangay Cubay.

Wounded were 25-year-old John Algara, a tricycle driver, who was in critical condition; and his parents, Roberto, 51, and Josephina Algara, 54, all of Pagla-um, Barangay Atipuluan, Bago City.

According to Aksyon Radyo Bacolod report, Eslais and Laganada were riding on a motorcycle on their way home when they accidentally collided with the tricycle running the opposite direction.

Police added that Laganada died on the spot while Eslais was brought to the Bago District Hospital but the attending physician declared him dead-on-arrival./WDJ
