Ilonggo Ferdinand “Thirdy” Ravena III and the San-En NeoPhoenix continued their struggles in the Japan B. League after back-to-back losses to defending champion Alvark Tokyo over the weekend.

The former Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles standout was a complete struggle on Saturday when the NeoPhoenix suffered a 94-76 loss to Alvark at the Arena Tachikawa Taichi.
In his worst game so far with the NeoPhoenix, the 6-foot-3 Ravena was defended well and held to only four points in the outing on a dismal 1-of-9 shooting to go along with three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes.
The 23-year-old Ravena was able to bounce back offensively on Sunday afternoon but the NeoPhoenix still suffered its fourth consecutive defeat with an 88-65 bowing to Alvark.
The Iloilo City-native bucked the sprain on his left ankle and ended up with 13 points, on 5-of-17 shooting, to go along with five rebounds and three turnovers in around 24 minutes of court time.
The NeoPhoenix are now at the cellar of the standings with 2-13 win-loss record. The team will next head to the Matsue City General Gymnasium tomorrow as they face Shimane./ASC, WDJ
