‘High-value’ target falls in Bacolod drug bust

Police arrested a man tagged as “high-value” target and his companion in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay 12.

“High-value” target 31-year-old Mukzzhin Tampi of the city’s Barangay Alijis and 26-year-old Noraya Barani of Barangay 26 were caught around 7:00 p.m. on November 13, City Drug Enforcement Unit of Bacolod City Police Station 1 said.

The suspects yielded nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 15 grams and valued at P102,000; P500 buy-bust money; sling bag; and cigarette box.

Tampi and Barani were detained at the Police Station 1, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
