Bago City’s No. 6 most wanted person was arrested around 8:10 a.m. on Monday in the city’s Barangay Dulao.

Bago City police chief, Police Major John Joel Bastusbatusan, identified the suspect as 19-year-old Joseph Celestial Mateo, laborer and resident of Purok Soledad in Barangay Dulao.

Judge Mary Jennifer Protasio-Arches of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 62 in Bago City issued the arrest warrant dated September 4, 2020 against the suspect for the crime of “rape.”

Mateo was detained at the Bago City Police Station. The court recommended no bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty./WDJ
