Azkals Development Team (ADT) ended its campaign in the 2020 Philippines Football League with a blanking of Stallion Laguna FC on Monday at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.

Carlo Dorin and Jarvey Gayoso scored a goal each for ADT, which ended their campaign with nine points on three wins and two losses.

Despite possibly finishing at second place, the national developmental football team is not eligible to compete in the qualification phase of 2021 AFC Champions League for being a guest team in the PFL.

After missing their first half attempts, ADT snagged the lead at the 52nd minute with Dorin converting a missed shot by teammate Yrick Gallantes.

The lead was doubled at the 61st minute with Gayoso scoring past Stallion keeper Nelson Gasic after Gallantes misfired his penalty kick from inside the box.

With the defeat, Stallion remained at fifth place in the standings with one point on one draw and two losses. They will try to end the season with a win against Mendiola FC 1991 on Thursday./ASC, WDJ
