Two suspected drug pushers were arrested following a buy-bust operation at Mallery Building in Silay City’s Barangay Lantad 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3.

Authorities identified the suspects as 21-year-old Nilshen Lacaba, a street level individual from the city’s Barangay 4, and  his companion 34-year-old Ian Dela Paz of Bonifacio Street, Barangay 2.

Silay City police seized five heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu valued at P13,600, P500 buy-bust money and other drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were detained at the Silay City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
