Bacolod City Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran said the National Inter-Agency Task Force (NIATF) has assured the city government that they will review the city’s quarantine status in the next two weeks.

According to Familiaran, as long as the number of Covid-19 positive cases in the city continues to go down, it would be possible that the city will be downgraded to the less strict modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).

As of November 2, Bacolod City recorded 18 new Covid-19 cases. The number of active cases also continues to go down with only 302, while recoveries are now at 4,401, while fatalities are at 127.

The total number of confirmed cases in the city is 4,830./DGB, WDJ
