A 30-year-old man was arrested following a buy-bust operation in La Carlota City’s Barangay RSB around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.

Joint elements of La Carlota City police, 2nd NOCPMFC and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested Jeffrey Otero alias “Jepoy,” a resident of Gan Subdivision in the city’s Barangay II Poblacion

Police confiscated eight small sachets of suspected shabu valued at P6,800, P500 buy bust-money and two cellphones.

The suspect was detained at the La Carlota City Police Station and charged in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
